Some of the people were very nice.

The company often felt disjointed and resistant to change. Many processes and approaches seemed behind the times, and new ideas or innovative perspectives were not readily welcomed. Leadership appeared disconnected from employees, and rather than empowering leaders to do the jobs they were hired for, decisions were frequently overridden or ignored.
