Pros
I'm going to be quite honest. A lot of people won't read my review but I think it would be worth your time. The pros of working at Influx are very limited and may be controversial between the people working there. Your experience is entirely different based on which department you work in and WHO you work with. Most will say the pay is bad for the workload, while others will say the pay is good considering its work from home. Truth is, pay is pay and you get what you signed for. The idea is not to focus on what you get but what you do with what you get. They pay you on time every month without fail. I'm just trying to focus on the pros here. You work from home, which is a pro within itself. Dependent on who you work with, you get personal coaching to help you meet your stats. But in my experience, that's it.
Cons
Let's start with the obvious. The pay is not competitive and quite low for what you're required to do and the pay gap between lower and upper management is HUGE. But for me, this wasn't that big of a con. As I said, you get what you sign for. Management is very POOR. It consists mainly of a clique of 'friends' who look out for each other. If you have a complaint against someone, it is very hard to see improvements because of the cliquey behavior. The most you'll get out of complaining is 'it's just who they are'. I've seen where people are fired unjustly, people are treated very badly for pointing out bad behavior or just generally disagreeing with decisions that affect them, and I've seen management literally prevent you from growing within the company because they'd love for you to stay underneath them. Again, not everybody will have this experience, but the minority who do, DON'T TALK ABOUT IT out of fear of repercussions. You aren't rewarded or recognized for the things you do. You could've done something that greatly improved the productivity of the company and gets not even a thank you for it. They focus more on criticizing you and identifying the negatives rather than praising the good you do. They are quick to point out a flaw and never see the good things you put in work to accomplish. On top of the toxic and unrewarding environment, there are absolutely no benefits. You get an internet allowance, yes, but it doesn't cover the internet costs for work and neither does it cover a day's worth of data you need if you have an outage and need to work. You get limited sick days and time off, and they are not very compassionate with regard to giving sick days. I had anxiety for months while working here, fearing what other negativity the day will bring. From management being rude and impulsive to people not recognizing the things you do.
