Pros
my coworkers, decent health insurance
Cons
-HR is a joke- I had nothing but problems with them any time I had to work with them, including attempting to get my PTO paid out after I left (still haven't received it because they won't do the paperwork on their end) and trying to get my husband added to my insurance took almost 2 months because they kept losing the forms I sent them, wouldn't return phone calls and emails, and just in general have no idea what they're doing -the organization as a whole does not care about their employees -you can earn a lot of PTO but good luck trying to use it -the hospital "hierarchy" is alive and well here with many, many rude doctors and nurses -the culture is just overall unenjoyable with poor management -took away the option to take holidays unpaid which in effect takes 6 of your PTO days that you were originally guaranteed. -while patient care staff are worked to the bone, admins get to enjoy flexible schedules and company paid for baseball games. -the patients don't matter to management, all they care about is money and are pushing towards worse and worse patient care and just cranking out numbers. -for being "a leader in healthcare" they treat pregnant women and new mothers quite poorly.
