Pros
- The hourly pay is around double the state minimum. - Hours are flexible and can fit right in with your course schedule. - There is a general freedom you have around how you conduct your study sessions as a PASS Leader. As long as you are making sure students do the math on their own and you're not just doing examples in front of the study session attendees the entire time, the structure of these sessions can be what you want. However, the superiors of the PASS superiors were always clear about the responsibilities of PASS Leaders. - If you are an undergrad student at IUB, and have a passion (or think you may have a passion for, but are not completely sure yet) for helping students understand their math lessons so they can perform the best they possible can on their exams, this would definitely be the position to consider applying for.
Cons
- The Kuali Time system could be frustrating to use sometimes, but overall it made sense. It could have been way worse.
