Thank you for leaving us a review of your work experience at Indeed Austin, as well as your 5 years of service to Indeed! We care deeply about our employee experience and we want everyone to feel like they belong and valued for the work they do at Indeed. It is our priority to make sure we are listening and acting on the concerns and suggestions of our staff, as they are the ones who help build us up as a company, and are our biggest and most valuable assets. You can rest assured that our managers are held accountable in our business to their leadership roles and we continuously monitor that through engagement surveys and manager performance reviews. These conversations also help us identify team members who deserve recognition for the work they’re doing, and those who might need a bit more support to get to where they want to be. We strongly encourage employees to not only have frequent 1:1 discussions with their manager, but skip-level meetings if needed. Your feedback is important to us and we appreciate that you have taken the time to share this with us. If you would like to have a more confidential chat, please email us at inside@indeed.com.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
