Pros

Unlimited PTO, in office gym, catered breakfast daily, catered lunch 1X a w eek, kitchen full of snacks

Cons

Incompetent management, promotions seem to be based on who sucks up the most and not skill level, if you were hired in the early stages of the company your salary is going to be far less than new hires in lower positions who are far less qualified than you, management acts entitled.

Thanks for leaving a review of your work experience at our NY office. We are listening and appreciate your feedback, as well as, years of service to Indeed! We don’t want anyone to feel marginalized or devalued at Indeed, and the views and voices of all employees matter. Our managers are held accountable in our business to their leadership roles and we continuously monitor that through engagement surveys and manager performance reviews. These conversations also help us identify team members who deserve recognition for the work they’re doing, and those who might need a bit more support to get to where they want to be. Parental leave should never prevent someone from receiving a promotion if they’ve put in the work and earned it prior to being on leave. We give all Indeedians opportunities to grow their career through on-going Learning and Development courses via Indeed Learn, plus an annual stipend for personal L and D opportunities. If you have any additional feedback you would like to share, we invite you to email us at inside@indeed.com for a confidential conversation on how we can continue to improve.

Fully remote. One of the nicest teams/people that I’ve ever worked with. Great work life balance.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
