Pros

Great pay, great benefits, great work/life balance, and interesting work. Overall, a great place to work. Inclusive to almost everybody. Except conservatives and gun owners.

Cons

As a woman who's been attacked before, I have a concealed carry license and always carry my gun in my purse. They won't let me do that here. It makes me feel very vulnerable. I'm not worried about any of my coworkers. (Everyone's really great!) I'm worried about criminals coming in and hurting me. Or someone hiding in the parking lot waiting to kidnap me on the way to my car like last time. But they don't care about any of that. They just want to virtue signal about being a "safe" gun-free zone.

One of the ways we do this in Austin, is via our 24 hour on-premise security guards. They are available (and encouraged) to escort employees to their car or other transportation whenever needed. We’d love the opportunity to learn how we can improve your experience and make sure that you’re able to take advantage of the security services provided. Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
