Pros

They'll feed you. Not much else.

Cons

This is true of any employer, but especially Indeed: don't trust HR. They don't have your best interests at heart. Unlimited PTO sounds good, but all it really means is that when you leave, Indeed doesn't have to pay out the PTO hours that they owe you. I know that's just business, but they make it sound like such a gift.

Thank you for leaving us a review about your time at Indeed. We think the free food and snacks we provide our people are vital to their happiness and wellbeing in work. But we agree that it takes more than perks to make a successful career. It takes work and life balance. The open PTO (Paid Time Off) is intended to be used by everyone. We want employees to take off as much time on holiday as they need, as long as they are hitting their targets and have manager approval. It’s a benefit that we offer all of our employees on top of the standard 25 days leave, in countries where there are standard leave regulations, Indeed pays out unused time Our HR teams are there to support our employees and care about what they care about. They partner with our Centers of Excellence to guide and provide the tools they need develop their careers with us. We’d love to discuss your feedback further on this point so please contact us at inside@indeed.com

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
