Pros

* Lots of broken things to fix, lack of early tech experience means everything can be improved * Always busy and learning a lot, especially in terms of what not to do

Cons

* Constant incidents to resolve * Strong performers undercut and given PIPs, weak performers kept along for years until they quiet quit * Constant mishires of staff engineers as well as anyone at manager level or above; all eng directors are incompetent and not respected by org * Eng last company, with 110% of eng time dedicated to satisfying unrealistic product deadlines, leading to constant incidents and long hours

Pros

The people: The team is genuinely brilliant but also kind and willing to help. Autonomy & ownership: High autonomy and real ownership from day one. If you're a builder who can navigate ambiuity and figure things out without a playbook, you'll thrive. You're trusted to own your work end to end. The mission: Tackling a space that's been dominated by legacy players. It's exciting to build something modern in an industry that's overdue for it.

Cons

If you don't enjoy working through ambiguity, you'll find the environment challenging. Very rarely are things spelled out in a way that can we worked through like a checklist. The pace and volume of work can feel chaotic if you get sucked in to just putting out fires and not building systemic fixes.

Pros

Incredible group of people working together to build something truly ambitious. Imprint's business model requires high levels of cross-functional coordination across the organization only achievable due to the high-ownership, low-ego folks present on every team. Company culture exemplifies the best of a high-growth technology company; everyone is working together to solve hard problems and enjoy themselves while doing it. The company offers incredible mobility for strong performers looking to scale their role or try something completely new. Leadership team is accessible and is always willing to dive into the weeds of the problem.

Cons

None, incredible place to work.
