The only real positive aspect of working for this company is the opportunity to work with students. If you enjoy teaching and mentoring kids, the job itself can be rewarding. Helping students develop critical thinking skills and a love for chess can be fulfilling, and some schools provide a supportive environment for coaches.

This company is an absolute disaster. Management is completely disorganized, unprofessional, and indifferent to the well-being of its employees. They mislead new hires about pay, making it seem like a stable and lucrative job when in reality, the compensation is inconsistent and much lower than advertised. There is no transparency, no support, and no real opportunity for career growth unless you are willing to put up with years of mistreatment. Leadership prioritizes control over competence, micromanaging coaches while providing little to no actual guidance or resources. Communication is abysmal, with schedules constantly shifting and expectations changing at a moment’s notice. On top of that, there is a toxic workplace culture where employee concerns are ignored, and management operates with a dismissive and condescending attitude. Coaches are undervalued, overworked, and treated as replaceable. If you dare to speak up about any of these issues, expect to be pushed out rather than heard. If you are considering working here, don’t. There are far better opportunities out there with organizations that actually respect and support their employees. This company is nothing more than a revolving door of burnt-out coaches who eventually realize they deserve better. Stay far away.
