Pros

City centre office, nice and easy to walk to the shops. Social activities. Good benefits e.g. fruit, massages and buy and sell leave. Generous personal development budget.

Cons

A poor HR structure which hinders employee growth and lets certain procedures get handled very badly. Management have favourites that get away with more than others. Weak leadership from certain managers. Overpromising company with little opportunity for current employees to grow. Hardly any 1 to 1s. Unprofessional comments can sometimes be made in front of managers with no repercussions.

Pros

A really human bunch of people where you're treated as an individual. Lots of mental health hours given out, little gift boxes at xmas etc. People genuinely want to help each other. Very good work life balance and generally remote working.

Cons

It's a very small company so job security isn't a thing. A lot of decisions feel reactionary rather than planned in advance because X deal didn't come off. New hires all seem to start on a contract first before a decision is made about whether you're permanent. There isn't any mobility in the company as the turnover only seems to come when they get rid of people and then everyone else has been in their job for 10+ years.

Pros

Great colleagues who deserve better. Flexible working gives good work life balance.

Cons

CEO is a terrible micro manager who doesn't trust his employees.
