Pros

The food and beverage industry is really interesting, fun and exciting. You get the Jewish high holidays off which means you may have a lot of time off in April and September, depending on whether or not they fall on a weekend. They are very good at putting band aids on employee issues when they come up, but need to be better about solving larger issues before they mushroom.

Cons

The company is quickly growing which means more job openings and interesting projects, but there is so much that isn’t implemented or communicated to staff as far as changing policies, procedures and expectations to accommodate the growth. Additionally, there are many unsavory characters in upper management. They will treat you as though you are easily replaceable, accept meetings and not show up and reprimand you for not being a mind reader. Some team members will also throw you under the bus to please others to get ahead. In my experience, people on my team took credit for work I did and were given complete credit for projects they didn’t lead or significantly contribute to. Also, they will let you go without discussing your performance with you at all (something I’ve seen mentioned in other posts so beware) with no explanation.

Pros

Learning opportunities is good, nothing else

Cons

Horrendous management. This is a company that throttles employee morale day by day, what is the point of having checkins when you are not promoting people or don't have any intent to do so. No constructive feedback or goal settimg. They would rather have hardworking employees leave and then get new people than retain them. Worst work culture of my life. I hope the company and it's rotten management go down.
