Pros

- The ability to say "I work at a large tech company in Austin" - The schedule is flexible and a manageable work-life balance is attainable if you do not invest yourself in caring much about the work part. - Some of the team members are great - you just never know who is going to stay and the turnover could be used as a way to wipe the board clean and get back to how feedback looked from 2015-2017. - There's a party to boost morale, drink alcohol, and feel optimistic about the company's future for one night a year.

Cons

- The inability to say "I am happy working at a large tech company in Austin" - The relationships between upper management, sales, and marketing are not healthy. - When you apply for a job (if you even get to speak with your potential coworkers), highly recommend you ask current employees how long they have been there & if they are happy - it does not take much to read between the lines to see what they won't say. It is sad for lack of a better term. - When you take a look at the reviews over the past 2 years, it is upsetting to see how much employee happiness and culture have been devalued. The quality of work and the value of employees became low on the list of priorities as long as EBITA can be presented in a positive light to the people that are not involved in the actual work. - You will not have any type of communication with the people in control, you are a number. - There is no investment in finding legitimate talent for marketing - only how to quickly fill positions for the lowest salary that were once managed by people with actual management experience. - The turnover rate in Austin must be a record high and causes major issues that impact everyone in some way. - Quick decisions are made after skilled managers leave for new opportunities and there is a clear lack of talent. When you look at the actual skills and experience in new management, it is silly - but not funny - it impacts people's lives and the revolving door continues to regurgitate unhappy employees that have actual skills. - No matter what actual work is done or what you have contributed to the company, it will mean very little as a new manager comes in every few months. It seems as if employees are either going through the motions or are already looking for a way out.

Pros

Other sales reps are nice to work with. Helpful.

Cons

Management. Management. Management. Pay is bad. Benefits. PTO is provided but expected to still work while out. Top heavy organization. Commission statements are rarely provided. I wish that I could come up with more pros but the company environment has significantly gotten worse over the years. No values are brought forth or followed. Theres no accountability or adequate support to change things up. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again it doesn’t mean it is going to get better.
