Pros
Everyone's opinion is valued - there is no "creative" department because we are ALL creative. This speaks volumes to anyone in the agency who has an idea, it doesn't matter what level you're at or what department you're in, you will be heard. There is a true absence of ego here that I have never seen in any agency. Ego is typically a given when you're in the agency world but somehow, Ideas Collide has curated a team that just doesn't have ego, despite being an extremely smart and innovative group. Some other reasons why this is the best place I've ever worked: - Recognition - they are fantastic at giving recognition to those who are going above and beyond and are just awesome in general (which is, honestly, everyone here). This recognition is by both peers and the executive team, and is monetized so there is an even greater reward. - Flexibility - we have teammates all over the country and they are very understanding about family obligations and mental health. It is very clearly made a priority that everyone takes care of themselves. They say Ideas Collide has a team-first mentality--they actually live up to it. - Support - Beyond flexibility, if you ever get overwhelmed, there is always someone there to help you get through it, AND you won't get shamed for raising your hand. They really want you to be successful.
Cons
With so much of the team remote, we don't get to see each other as often, so often when we connect, it's almost always about work. But people do take the time out of their day to reach out just because sometimes too, which is nice. The executive team is so swamped because they are so ingrained in client work and supporting the team, sometimes it takes a while for you to get a response.
