Still a bureaucracy with too many forms!

Icon Water has a genuinely positive and collaborative culture. The team is open, supportive, and easy to work with, which makes a big difference day-to-day. There is also a strong sense of diversity, with people from many different nationalities and backgrounds, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. Flexibility is a major highlight, along with an excellent work-life balance that is consistently respected. Compensation and overall benefits are also very competitive. Overall, it’s a great environment for professionals who value a healthy balance, good culture, and strong teamwork.

Like many organisations in this space, there is a degree of bureaucracy, and things can move slower than expected. Some processes can feel overly complex, and progress may depend on multiple layers of approval. There can also be a slightly political environment at times, and I felt there is a tendency toward centralisation, which can limit autonomy and slow down decision-making.
