Pros
* The content that ITVS funds is important and some movies are good.
* Had the opportunity to work with many talented people
Cons
* ITVS did not support my professional growth. Unfortunately, employee development is not part of the company’s core. Most of the work offered for entry level roles is data entry and reporting metrics, with no opportunity for promotion or even acquisition of other transferable skills.
* Compensation is below market and not reviewed often enough. Employees do not receive significant raises unless they are in upper management and on the flip end, young professionals are treated and remunerated like interns.
* ITVS’ culture is toxic, employees don’t feel safe to communicate their opinions openly, so there is a lot of gossiping and lack of direct and honest feedback. The People department focus is not clear and definitely not addressing VERY pressing issues such as lack of representation in leadership, current social issues impacting employee’s day to day, burnout, etc.
