If you love to suck up to bosses, you can be horrible with customers and coworkers.

Had a coworker do horrible things to get people to leave. Always just sat at his desk all day, complained about coworkers all the time, get a dinner and offer to stay despite the complaints against him by more than a few people all while not doing much else but look at everyone else’s work orders. Since he was in the good ole boys club, he got to come back on site, despite there being a 1 year of not allowed on site rule in place. Meanwhile, we lost a hard working person that volunteered to help anyone, got along with everyone and had excellent communication with radiology techs. He wasn’t offered a dinner and raise to stay. Instead, they said they would rather spend far more money putting everything he took care of under contracts with outside service. Also, they would rather push out good workers to make room for yes people.
