Pros
The island is beautiful but it’s really expensive since it’s a place for most people to go a day or two. It gets boring after a couple of months.
Cons
I’m from Argentina and went to a beautiful island for a work and travel experience. I invested a lot of money into this opportunity, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst time ever. The employers were mean, and there was only one chair for about 3 to 4 employees in the entire store. We were expected to work without breaks, and the schedule was horrible. The managers seemed overworked, and there were issues with basic facilities like the air conditioner. We were not allowed to have our phones with us all day, and our tasks sometimes included moving furniture from their houses while on the clock. It felt like we couldn’t enjoy the island because of the impact on our mental health. I worked there for four months, and they were truly the worst months of my life. We couldn’t even hug our coworkers due to strict camera surveillance. If you’re considering working in this place, I would advise against it. It’s genuinely stressful and a real headache.
