We’re surprised and disappointed to read your comments regarding your experience with your manager – we work hard across IRIS to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams, and we created our dedicated leadership pathways to do just that, as well as providing managers at every level with the tools and development they need to ensure they’re performing at their best. We also use a regular employee feedback tool so that employees can share feedback and suggestions with their manager, HR and our leadership teams. We’re delighted that on Peakon, our monthly employee survey, the majority of our managers score above the benchmark on employee engagement, and those not performing receive dedicated coaching, training and support to genuinely improve the engagement of their teams. We wholeheartedly encourage our employees to leave honest and constructive feedback for their manager so that they can understand how they're doing and be the best manager they can be to their team.
We appreciate that IRIS is a fast-paced company with lots of exciting new opportunities and initiatives taking place across the family. We are proud to support all our employees during busy times through our range of policies, wellbeing tools, and training resources. For example, we offer a free Employee Assistance Programme through Aviva, provide flexible working options, and one of our training courses for this quarter’s curriculum is ‘’How to Deal with Pressure, Stress & Pressurised workloads’, ‘Time Management’ and ‘Mental Wellbeing & Resilience’.
