We want our employees to feel empowered and we work hard to ensure that everyone across IRIS can share their fantastic ideas and suggestions with us. We encourage you to use Peakon, our monthly survey tool, to share your ideas with managers and senior leaders in real time. This feedback can be instantly viewed, allowing our leadership teams to act on ideas quickly, respond to comments and make an #IMPACT. We are delighted that we have an engagement score of 7.5 across Customer Support, where we consistently score high on Autonomy, Recognition, and Manager Support as drivers of engagement. Additionally, managers responded and interacted over 7,000 times to comments left by our Customer Support employees.
Our Customer Support Team at Wigan recently celebrated their year end with a group award event, where the team voted on several award categories before treating themselves to a night out. We are also very proud for our Wigan Customer Support Team, who have recently won our IMPACT Awards for Team of the Quarter, celebrating their win with a team dinner.
We are delighted to support our managers development through our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ programme, which has currently supported 74 managers in the past 12 months, with 15 starting the course soon. This training programme provides managers with ongoing support, communication, emotional intelligence and practical training to develop the skills they need to motivate, develop and inspire their teams. We have also recently launched our ‘Leading with IMPACT’ programme, with our first cohort off 22 senior leaders due to start in July.
We also offer our employees the chance to learn from more experienced colleagues through our Mentoring Programme. With a range of 30 senior mentors to choose from, employees can receive access to a wider set of skills, experience, and perspectives than from their manager alone. It also empowers the mentor to provide individual advice, support and knowledge sharing with a specific mentee.
