Pros

There are some great people who work at IMA. Kind with great attitudes and hardworking.

Cons

Upper management were unclear, unprofessional and downright mean to me and others throughout my time working there. The overall atmosphere to me whilst working there was that the majority of the people working there did not want you to succeed. Staff told on each other all of the time when mild and very fixable things went wrong. Not great teamwork. Specific management said mean comments about other staff to me which were downright unprofessional and hurtful. Then they would talk to the staff as if they never mentioned anything to anyone. Complete toxic. I couldn’t ask questions about work without feeling like I was doing something awful. Too competitive between staff. You either had the chance to follow the rules to an absolute tee like a pawn to the king or queen or you were going to drown. Micro managers. I had a horrible experience working here and I really can see that now since I’m no longer in such a toxic work environment. In saying that, there were some really nice people (including a small portion of management) who worked there. I hope they can get out of there soon so they can be appreciated more.

Pros

Unfortunately, niche industry and location only.

Cons

Workloads are chaotic, priorities are unclear, managers are inconsiderate and with no regard to employee’s well-being. It’s a sink or swim place. I was so excited because I like the industry but this turned out to be disappointing and mentally exhausting experience. It’s not worth it. I love what I’m doing but upper management seems to not have the qualities that could actually lead and help you improve. The lack of support but being big on criticism is enough to drive anyone away. It’s very demotivating and you’d think this place don't deserve your hard work.

Pros

Convenient commute and easy access to public transit

Cons

The training here is excessive and repetitive, but it doesn’t translate into real support. You’re constantly in “training mode,” taking endless modules and attending back-to-back sessions, yet when you actually start working you’re expected to perform at full speed with no practical guidance. Management micromanages every task and still blames you for issues that stem from unclear processes. The workload is overwhelming, and the constant training feels like a way to avoid accountability. It’s a stressful environment with little respect for your time or sanity.
