Pros
I enjoyed my co-workers. I also know the CEO is a good guy! Work life balance, hybrid scheduling, and the company luncheons/holiday events were fun.
Cons
They promise the world with this new position. However, mid way through the application process, the job description changed from managing their social content, to managing and helping the recruitment team. They hired me as "temporary" but assured me that was because all first years don't get benefits right away until the company reaches a number of employees and grant them "full status". I was assured my job was safe because they "needed it". 6 months in, my new manager (who had only been there about a month), was tasked with giving me the axe because it's "no longer financially viable since we don't know what to do with it." For a company that prided itself on employee retention...they had no problem leaving me unemployed for 6 months. Also paying $20 for parking when I WAS in the main office was kind nuts, especially because there's no form of reimbursement.
