Pros

Well-regarded grocery store in Vancouver. Customer interactions mostly positive. Schedule is provided three weeks at a time, but is subject to change. Some coworkers friendly.

Cons

Minimum wage. Although schedule is provided three weeks at a time, it is subject to change, and at times, was changed without notice. Speed seemed to be more important than customer service or accuracy. Very little formal training or feedback provided. Final pay was not provided in the timeframe required by Employment Standards legislation. Employer is not very good about regularly providing pay stubs. No job security. In what I saw, they seem to only hire men for produce and grocery, and put female hires in cash, deli and bakery. One supervisor in particular was kind of grumpy.
