Pros

Superb work environment with pleasant staff and very down-to-earth management. Health insurance also. If you are into a job that consists of non-stop travel then this is the job you would want.

Cons

The work never stops. Meetings never stop which prohibits you from actually having the time to ever complete a task. If you wish to have a work-life balance, work elsewhere. Multiple tests to complete which you first join and non-stop acronym jargon. Most of all the pay could be better.

Pros

The UNGA is a busy time at the UN, this provides a lot of excellent experience. The team works well and tries its best to ensure it is a beneficial one. Unlike many internships related to the UN, it is paid a stipend, which makes a difference

Cons

The stipend is not quite enough to live on, but it is fair for 3 days a week.

Pros

Friendly and inspiring environment. You really feel at the center of humanitarian work and that you can contribute to concrete impacts for vulnerable people.

Cons

Management does not always coach employees in new roles and too much turnover. Difficulties in balancing work and family life when you're hired on a contract basis.
