HQ is located in Dallas, if you are hired on the Marketing Team to work in Houston, you will have no direct support. When you express that you are struggling, they will let you believe they are working with you to improve, only to send HR to fire you. Marketing Director has been with the company since the beginning and has a well of knowledge - about engineering projects, working with engineers, and writing for engineers. Not very informed about marketing best practices. Does not enforce internal deadlines for engineers so Marketing team has to meet outside of working hours to complete tasks by external deadlines. Team spends a lot of time on Social Media content with very little return by way of social media metrics. No adequate training for team members outside of headquarters.
