Pros
There are some really phenomenal people who work at IDEX and bring their A game every day. Senior leadership at corporate really do try to make it a great place to work. The IDEX values are textbook what the best practices are for management and leadership today. The benefits are pretty good as well.
Cons
Each business unit still has its own very distinct and unique culture, some of which emulates IDEX values, some of which does not. As much as corporate tries to let each business unit run on its own, there are still processes and people from corporate that conflict with the business unit, and sometimes decisions are made in favor of what's best for IDEX/shareholders vs. what's best for the B.U.
