Pros
- The culture and people. Everyone is willing and happy to collaborate. - The work life balance. There is always more work than hours in the day but ICON does a great job of making sure you still have your personal time. - There are many growth opportunities and clear tracks for advancement.
Cons
- Pay - starting pay can be okay, however, you can’t stay with the company long term. I’ve known people who have been promoted multiple times and are only making a few thousand more in todays dollars. Additionally, from my experience new hires with less or no experience will be payed substantially more than their counterparts. Disclaimer: This is antidotal and I am only referring to new hires with little or no industry specific experience here. - Lack of Innovation - there is not a culture of innovation. This isn’t bad at all but just know this is not the place to be if you’re looking for a place that is going to change the CRO space.
