Pros
Company has great incentive programs for good attendance. Upper/lower management personnel received extensive Management training that was badly needed. Some changes were being implemented before I left. Regular weekly communication meetings were done to express goal setting and completion achievements.
Cons
High turn over of employees recently has made it difficult to train new employees on all aspects of jobs including production, estimating, drafting, and project management. If you are looking to be trained properly for a specific position, then you may lost and unable to find satisfaction in your job. Plant supervisors are few and lack experience. Office managers are swamped with ever changing dealers and overflow of work. Office personnel are highly stressed due to work load since their positions require them to process drawings and orders for both Paris & Union City divisions. Any raises are across the board and not based on individual work. This is great for the less motivated and bad for those that put their all into their position.
