Pros
It's a job, that's it.
Cons
Training lasts for two weeks, yet there is important information that is still omitted. For instance they don't tell you that you will have to ask the respondents personal sexual questions that would make anyone uncomfortable. The system they use to track adherence is faulty making it impossible to meet metrics. You will held accountable for the amount of refusals you receive as if it's your fault people don't want to do surveys. You will be told to rebut when a respondent says no. You will be calling people who have requested to be removed from the call list, creating further abrasion ane exposing the interviewer to more irate people. All time spent manually dialing counts against you. If you have to use the bathroom, be prepared to receive a dock in pay. If you are a bilingual Interviewer, you will be expected to read verbatim surveys that are full of errors sounding like a complete idiot on the phone. Also, be prepared for the phone system and VPN to go down several times a day despite being hardwired which is the requirement.
