Pros
Opportunities to Grow - I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the growth opportunities IAT offers. With the in-house learning platform, external partnerships with Learning Institutes, and benefits like tuition reimbursement, I’ve been able to build both my personal and professional skillsets. Additionally, I feel encouraged to seek other growth opportunities outside of these resources through special projects or external certifications. Transparency and Open Communication - I’ve always felt encouraged to ask questions or reach out for help when needed – sometimes this is the best way to learn! IAT’s leaders are very knowledgeable about the insurance industry and are always happy to break down complex topics to help you understand. In line with this open communication, IAT also places a huge emphasis on feedback – both on the individual front (being more open to giving and receiving it) and company-wide (identifying areas of improvement). Most importantly, they respond to feedback and act on changes. Benefits - IAT’s benefits are second to none. The hybrid work schedule and PTO package help me maintain a healthy work-life balance. The CLAS and 401(k) match allow me to focus on both short and long-term financial goals, and my philanthropic efforts are quadrupled thanks to their Charitable Matching program.
Cons
Technology – Some legacy systems are a bit outdated, but IAT is actively responding to this issue and is rolling out new technologies.
