Pros
Great work - life balance. Flexible schedules. The best people you would ever want to work with. Some of the smartest people I have ever met work right next to me. I feel like I can go to my manager with any situation professional or personal and he genuinely attempts to help me in any way he can. Just like a lot of things in life, you get out of it what you put in to it. If you don't partake in the events and just be a snake in a hole, then you aren't going to enjoy work too much. One of my favorites to this day is being able to wear casual cloths every day. I hated wearing business cloths to answer phone calls. How much sense does that make?
Cons
My only complaint is that some people are given too many chances. At some point, you just have to cut someone loose. Especially if they are a detriment to the team. Most of the complaints I have read on here are due to the fact that this is the first real world job for the majority of people we hire. Because of this, people really don't know how good they have it in a company that puts as much into them as they put into Hyland Software. They think Hyland is bad because it has Cliques. This is called the real world. Every company has cliques, just like every high school, every college, and every environment where mass amounts of people gather daily.
