Pros

Great company to hide away from any body I'd you like. Or you can play along the politics

Cons

Politics is very alive. Only if you pick the right side monthly. You will be OK.

Pros

Benefits, Pay and Work Schedule

Cons

Employees are threatened or retaliated against for reporting unsafe acts or hazardous conditions. Multiple employees have been terminated after incidents, with management claiming “policy violations” even though everyone on the floor knows the real reason. At Cressona, your success has little to do with your performance. It’s about who you know, not the quality of your work. High-performing employees are treated poorly, while substandard workers who are close to certain managers are moved into better positions—and sometimes even promoted. This year alone, Hydro has lost several talented employees due to weak, inconsistent, and retaliatory leadership from the GM/VP. The same leader who promotes concepts like Psychological Safety and Human & Organizational Performance is the same one who pressures managers to fire employees for reporting hazards. Cressona is not a place to grow your career—it's where careers go to die. If you’re considering a job at Hydro Cressona, keep the following in mind: Reporting safety issues may put your job at risk Favoritism outweighs performance Leadership does not practice what it preaches Talented employees often leave—or are pushed out Proceed with caution.
