Pros
Gained a good deal of technical experience conducting Research and Development projects. Had a great Senior Scientist who served as a mentor. Facility was very clean, well maintained and commitment to employee health (onsite nurse), safe working conditions, and the environment was top-notch. -Monthly employee safety meetings -Multiple opportunities to present research updates at team meetings. -Multiple opportunities to attend seminars by external speakers and vendors would regularly come in to showcase products. There was also an annual health fair. -Onsite cafeteria at the Technical center. -Multiple opportunities to engage management with at least three performance reviews per year, goal setting, and numerous conferences as needed to outline career goals.
Cons
Only one I can think of is the cost cutting measures that were enacted several years ago to save profit margins changed the company atmosphere. Many colleagues left as a result and it wasn't the same after that.
