- a person laying off was smiling during the Zoom like it was a day at Disney. - would have meetings I didn’t need to be in from 7 pm-8 pm. - 50+ people (not in marketing) in one document someone from marketing was working on. - CEO would bad-talk people on Slack who left the company “in good standing.” - C-suite would push out Reddit ads that looked like some MSPaint job that got a bunch of comments about the ad being a scam and stuff like “Is this even real??” - burnt through 2 CMOs. - CEO would get on Slack and talk about how he liked an ad because of the “Raspberry Pi” color scheme, and I couldn’t tell if he was trolling. - there were weird vibes at the big in-person meet. - always passive-aggressive remarks. - got a cramp so bad from so many meetings that I thought it was a blood clot. Health insurance covered my Friday night ER visit, so I guess that was nice. - too many people not in marketing not making marketing decisions. will make things tougher on sales.
