Pros

Excellent company to work for, good benefits, great concept, friendly atmosphere, flexibility.

Cons

It’s hard to move up the ladder at Huntington. Politics have a big pull, all depends on your immediate manage, If the manager is not playing fair then you will not move up.

Pros

I have nothing positive left to say about this place. The only pro is the paycheck while I find somewhere else to go.

Cons

Worst career mistake was accepting the offer here. I've had $50k in stocks taken, $30k in bonuses, threatened with retaliation (with attempted follow through), been subjected to favoritism, and intentional sabotage of my reputation. An example of a reason I had stocks taken was "your offer letter said you are eligible for stock grants, not that they were guaranteed. That means we technically don't have to give them to you, so we decided we aren't going to". This was in the same review meeting where I was given a score slightly above meets expectations. The retaliation follow-through was only backed out of because the other manager that all of my direct reports were being given to quit, and there was no one else. Every person reporting to me was being taken without explanation. I've been given reviews that omit every positive thing that was accomplished, even things that the team had never accomplished before me. I've had every ounce of morale stripped from me. I've had every incentive, including the tiny yearly merit increase, taken from me. After sharing my concerns with people I trust, I learned there have been many people before me subjected to his unethical, toxic, and maybe even legally questionable behavior, and nothing is ever done. I was told HR protects them and does nothing. I ended up going to HR myself and providing a detailed timeline with all evidence I've gathered, and sure enough, nothing. I was told they didn't see an issue with any of it, that "this email represents an end to the case and all communications", and if I had any additional problems to take it up with the person subjecting me to it. Now I know this isn't an isolated problem. I can't even apply to different areas of the company due to the inevitable sabotage that I'm sure would prevent it You don't need to believe me, but I have found other reviews here detailing very similar experiences in completely different areas of the company.
