Pros

Innovative field of work. Cool building.

Cons

Every single employee is stressed out of their minds. This causes poor reactions to higher stress situations. Criticism to upper management results in yelling matches in the hallway and eventual firings. Their way only, no highway option. Upper management is difficult to work with, rarely takes advice or help. You will find yourself going in circles getting no real work done. Job titles are a joke. You do the work of a manager but are not compensated for it. Turn over rate is VERY high due to discouragement levels of employees.

Pros

There are enough challenges to keep the work interesting for a while. This could be a good place work if it weren’t for management.

Cons

The CEO is unprofessional, frequently speaking negatively about employees to whoever will listen. It is always someone else’s fault for his business not running as it should. You will rarely, if ever be recognized for your accomplishments. They are working on a 10 year old pay scale. They do not give regular pay raises. There is no time or budget for training or professional development. The equipment and software is old. They are always underestimating how long projects will take, and their solution is always to work more hours. They don’t allow work from home unless you are a member of the boss’ family. Turnover is quite high due to general dissatisfaction. If this company spent as many resources to retain people as the do to hire people, they wouldn’t have to keep hiring so many people.
