Pros

It used to be a decent company to work for. We got vouchers and hampers for good performances. Work night outs are fun. There is room for promotion and progression to a degree. Convenient location in the city centre.

Cons

Since 2022 senior management have made working for Humm a miserable experience. There are no more perks. This year despite record profits there was no Christmas bonus or voucher or gifts like there was last year. Good workers have left and are not being replaced. The office atmosphere is miserable. There is a toxic attitude from senior management towards certain teams for no obvious reason

Pros

I valued the relationships I built with colleagues at the working level. Beyond that, I found the environment challenging in ways that ultimately weren't a good fit for my professional growth.

Cons

Management culture is not set up for people to succeed; there is a pattern of unclear expectations, limited support, and accountability being pushed down without the authority or resources to match. Career development and progression pathways are poorly defined. it is difficult to understand how to grow or what success looks like beyond the immediate role. Decision-making can feel top-down with limited input from technical practitioners who are closest to the work Recognition of individual contribution is inconsistent strong performers are not always acknowledged or rewarded appropriately.

Pros

There is no pros I can think about Humm, however, a few which is a handful of people were good and supportive. However, such people do quit here once they get a taste of Humm.

Cons

I have a lot to say here but let me keep it brief. If you want a taste of intense politics, indirect harassment and favouritism, messy senior leadership, no progress in career, learning and development and meeting some of world class politics related people - this would be the company. Pay is extremely low in this company too. Finance team is Red area - Caution and stop before getting in here. You can even look for other companies with lesser pay rather and be at peace of mind. I am talking from experience and not hatred towards anything.
