Pros
- NO company that I have ever worked at has a better work-life balance than HK. - The work was neat, there was a lot of autonomy. - Tech management does their best to create a cohesive group which focuses on personal growth. - Tech management does their best to listen, even if they end up disagreeing or deciding differently. - The cafeteria is a great benefit - Fitness classes are somewhat subsidized - Runner-friendly environment to work in, everybody is very excited for you when you race. - This company is full of very clever and creative people who work quite well with each other, despite bureaucracy.
Cons
- The pay is pretty low. - The health benefits are among the worst I've ever received at an employer. - All tech projects are micro-managed by the CEO. - The company is technically owned by employees, yet employees have no vote or control. - There's an awful lot of bureaucracy going on here. - Some people within the company get an awful lot of say, and nepotism abounds
