Pros
The staff I came across were nice and friendly but were hard to understand sometimes as their English wasn’t the best
Cons
Went through all the interview process - mock classes, demos, orientation training etc; which took at least 6 weeks if not longer! Everything went really well, I received a job offer, promise or a good salary, signed the contract and uploaded the required documents to then receive a phone call a week before I was due to start teaching tell me they were retracting my employment due to not having a bachelors degree which was apparently a new Hujiang requirement! The response I got was to go to university, get a degree then come back to them?! I did however have a masters certificate from TEFL but if I specifically needed this bachelors degree, why was I never informed and why was I allowed to go through the interview process if this “new requirement” was coming in to play shortly? They wasted my time, I lost out on earnings, turned down other job offers in anticipation of starting teaching for Hujiang and was ultimately left with no job in the end - was a shame as I have family and friends working for the company also (who have no bachelors degree but were hired before the new requirement) This has also affected other friends of mine who have had the same treatment as myself from Hujiang and been left unemployed suddenly. I’ve been promised some funds I’m owed for my training so will see if I end up receiving this. All in all, a really really poor and incredibly frustrating experience.
