Pros

Hudl is an outstanding workplace that truly supports its employees with excellent benefits and exceptional opportunities for growth. In my 5 years here, I’ve been promoted 4 times, which speaks to the company’s commitment to career development. Hudl also places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, and the hybrid office model has been invaluable in helping me maintain my mental well-being. If you’re looking for a company that values its people and their growth, Hudl is the place to be.

Cons

The biggest con at Hudl is the unequal distribution of territories. Territories vary significantly in size and potential, leading to vastly different quotas. In some cases, these quotas can be extremely challenging to achieve, which can create added pressure and frustration for employees.

Thank you for your detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear you’ve had such a positive experience at Hudl. Our robust benefit packages, career growth opportunities and emphasis on a healthy work-life harmony are just some of the ways that we’re able to reward all of the time and effort our team puts in. Your success during your tenure is a testament to your hard work, and we’re glad to be part of your journey. Your frustrations about differing territory sizes are understandable, and is something that would be great to discuss further with your manager and flagged in our company-wide engagement and team-level pulse surveys. Thanks for your advice on empowering individual contributors—it’s a great reminder that Hudl has leaders at every level of the organization. Glad to have you on the team!

Pros

-Positive Business Outlook: Users love Hudl and it's a very forward-thinking product that has a great place in the future -Values-led culture/norms: People are at the heart of how we operate -Very talented overall workforce: Our bar on hiring is super high and performance management process works if there are clear underperformers. -People genuinely get along with each other for the moist part - far better than most organizations with huge silo walls.

Cons

-Decision-making bottleneck at exec-team level with some pretty hands on leaders in the weeds on too much. -Some teams are quite top-heavy, a poor micro-culture on the team, and have less accountability than they should (Finance/Accounting specifically) -We can settle on talent in key roles that is in a key hub where we have an office since less remote hiring is approved.
