Pros

Hubilo is well capitalized with $150M in venture capital investment. The company enjoys strong G2 ratings, showing up in the top set on all measures. The product has a modern UI and experience. The CEO is smart and confident but also a good listener and problem solver. He does not micromanage and lets his execs run their divisions. The company had an offsite in India in Q1 where they threw a series of epic parties. US employees at all levels are invited to travel to India and work from the Bangalore office. Comp is solid and competitive across the countries the employees work in. Budgets are decent despite the downturn. The CFO and finance and accounting groups are competent and easy to work with. HR is very supportive and go the extra mile to hire and retain talent.

Cons

It's a tough macroeconomic environment, so there have been a number of strategic pivots and changing needs of the staff. With a global workforce the days can be long, so many people take a break in the mid-day to cover the early and evening work windows.

Pros

Due to it's ridiculously fast growth and expansion, there is a ton of opportunity for employees that are excited about and enjoy the rapidly changing environment that comes along with crazy growth. Proactive, curious, growth minded individuals can try their hand at a wide range of projects. Nothing is set in stone, and there is room for improvement everywhere, which means anyone/everyone is able to contribute new ideas, suggestions and processes and leadership on done are receptive to all of it. The funding situation is great, which allows the org to select and implement the latest tech stack as desired, and to take the risks needed to experiment with new programs/projects. The event space is being completely reinvented right now and has no clear front runners with insurmountable advantages. The leadership team is doing their best to learn as they go and become a people first organization, and open to feedback accordingly.

Cons

For the same reasons above...the organization is somewhat chaotic due to the rapid growth. People that want to sit quietly working within a concrete process and aren't comfortable with rapid change and uncertainty...are likely to be dissatisfied. The leadership team is still in the learning phase and trying to build a strong culture where there hasn't been one...the con of that is...it takes time and it's not in place (the pro is you can help influence it). The company is global, and fully remote. Timezones and remote work present big challenges for strengthening team bonds and finding good times to collaborate so flexible schedules and clear communication are a requirement.
