Pros

Nature of the job Benefit Environment/ department

Cons

Management at this workplace tends to show favoritism towards certain staff members. There's a significant amount of stress due to being overloaded with tasks, particularly for new employees. The workload isn't distributed evenly, with longer-tenured employees often avoiding being tasked with heavy workloads. Personally, my stress levels were unsustainable, as I was expected to bring work home while others had more manageable duties. Despite promises, management doesn't provide adequate support or follow through on commitments. Additionally, nepotism is prevalent, hindering opportunities for growth which often rely on personal connections and favouritism rather than merit. During my time in the role, I found myself handling the workload of three people solo. To facilitate my transition out, I opted to express a need for a job closer to home, rather than directly addressing the workload concerns to avoid any potential impediments to transferring positions.
