You get paid. You get health insurance. It's a life changing experience, but not in the way you hoped.
Cons
Apollo 20. Incompetency from management, negligence, bullying administrators who will bombard employees with memorandums, lack of support, defiant students who are often aggressive towards teachers. Do thorough research on the campus before accepting an offer. Find out where they rank as far as incidents go, ask how many new teachers they are bringing aboard, and do not work at a campus that has an F grade. There are far better districts.
