Pros

Coworkers were great. Guests were almost always nice and understanding of limited rooms/housekeeping availability. Was given freedom to use my best judgement to make guests happy.

Cons

Lack of management support. Super short staffed. No security at certain times, so it could feel unsafe. Low pay for a lot of extra work. Was offered a promotion, but would have had to work ANY shift that was called off or open.

nice management nice pay fun job good benefits

fast paced at times in the mornings and sometimes felt they needed bellmen front desk had to do that

Pros

A team that works and plays well together. Travel discounts via IHG Rewards Program and Employee Rates. Flexible schedule and opportunities to cross-train with different departments (ie. Food and Beverage).

Cons

Benefits aren't as substantial if you're working for a privately-owned property. Skeleton crew size so be prepared to step up if a coworker gets sick or is out traveling.
