Pros
Great teams within each department. Other employees are generally very welcoming and friendly. Most of the employees are collaborative across departments, and are very polished professionals.
Cons
The culture from the top is very odd. The CEO likes to have "All-Hands" meetings where he gives the entire company updates on the company performance. The company is doing amazingly well, which is great, but then he adds items about how we need to do better. Wait...I thought we were doing well. Your company is growing 2-300% each year and we need to do better? It really sours the whole vibe when those kinds of things are said. A simple "keep up the good work" would be fine. Also, it's still treated as a start-up. We're not a small group with a vision any more, though. This talk is great for the exec team, but it feels really forced as a company wide message. Benefits were recently changed and got rid of the co-pay plans. PPOs have their good points, but they are expensive for the employee. No 401 matching-for a company that is making money hand-over-fist, this seems like it would be included.
