Pros
- Friendly colleagues that are great to work with - Flexible working (supports hybrid working and flexible hours) - Good job security - Interesting projects - Modern technology stack
Cons
- Lack of promotions (I was with the HO for a good numbers of years and got two promotions in that time starting from the bottom, in which I had to push for myself and take on a different role to do so each time) - Pay package (the salary for London isn't high enough with the current cost of living, maybe for employees that work up North it could be fine though, but likely still less than elsewhere) - Manager support (for tech based roles it can be challenging to be assigned a manager that can assist with your growth within technical areas, which could be to do with the two previous issues mentioned. In my time there I had 3-4 managers and only the last manager I had was actually helpful in this as the others lacked technical knowledge or were too busy to actually help)
