Why It's Important to Treat Employees with Respect - Photographer Hockmeyer Studios Employee Review

Pros

The only pro I can think of is in receiving your paycheck.

Cons

Low pay, no room or care even for growth, graveyard shift at all times, degrading treatment from almost everyone working here, offered unemployment but didn't give you enough of hours to receive it in the end. Every day was worked in an extremely disrespectful atmosphere. It was honestly the worst job experience of my life. On my first day the owner told everyone if they use the computer not to go on any porn sites.

Pros

This job is great for people who need a variable schedule, working on the "road crew" means early hours 5am-1pm ish, though it varies greatly. Working as office staff is almost always 8am-4pm. All necessary job training is provided. Every new hire goes through a 1-4 day training session based on their experience and level of comfort.

Cons

Lots of early mornings in the fall season. Like 4am early sometimes. For most people this will only be a job from late August to November. Very few people 3-5 a year are taken for the spring season March to June. If you don't have a license/car or are uncomfortable being a passenger, it is very unlikely for you to stay for long as a photographer, there is lots of driving every day.
