Pros

Talented and driven individuals across the company. You’ll get a lot of exposure and be forced to learn quickly.

Cons

There is a clear lack of alignment at the leadership level, which results in constantly shifting priorities and unclear direction. Teams are expected to move fast, but without the structure, processes, or resourcing needed to execute effectively. There’s also a noticeable amount of turnover, which makes it difficult to maintain consistency and build momentum. It often feels like teams are rebuilding or re-explaining things rather than progressing. Instead of investing in scalable systems and clear ownership, there’s a tendency to rely on individuals to “figure it out,” which leads to inefficiency, frustration, and burnout. Communication across teams is inconsistent, and accountability is not always clearly defined.

Pros

- Company is full of smart, kind people with a healthy, non-toxic culture. Easily the biggest pro of working here at HiveWatch! - Rapidly growing startup. At times can be a blessing and a curse, but much more positive than not. Very exciting environment to get to work in. - Nice perks: 4% 401k match, (actually) unlimited PTO, snacks & drinks always stocked, with weekly company-sponsored breakfast & lunch. - Amazing Engineering org! - Opportunities for ownership and leading development of key features that get used daily by customers across the world. - Blameless culture focused on solving problems - not pointing fingers. - Assumptions can be challenged in a healthy manner that lets employees grow and do their best work. Always aiming for the right solution for the problem, and not just doing things “because we’ve always done it that way”. - Recent introduction of 80/20 time lets devs work on problems they're passionate about every Monday!

Cons

Running a 24/7/365 global security platform has many technical and operational challenges, and may not be for folks looking for a laid back 9-5.

Pros

I've had an awesome experience at HiveWatch and want to highlight the people you'll be working with are incredible. The company is in hyper scale mode and everyone is bought in to making this rocket ship take off. The sales leadership cares a lot about getting people to a place of success and the CEO is an awesome person who tries to make HiveWatch a place that feels like home. Food is catered on Monday mornings and Fridays for Lunch, which are a nice touch. People are open to helping each other. The sales tech you use is modern and state of the art with encouragement to use AI in your day to day. Additionally, the office space is beautiful and in a pretty location. If you're a top performer feeling underutilized at your current job, take a look at HiveWatch and give them a chance you won't regret it.

Cons

Not many I can think of besides maybe some misaligned expectations from interviews to actual day to day expectations when in seat. There may be frustration by lack of structure but it's a startup and processes are being built out rapidly using methods that are proven to work for hyper scale tech companies.
