Pros
They have some passionate, fun, and smart people. The 401k matching is good.
Cons
Hitachi hires a lot of college students with a really low paying contract, often times in a quality position and you have to "earn" your keep to be in a position you want to be in (even if you do well, you still won't move). Since there are too many young people, you won't benefit from working with seasoned engineers. More of the experienced and talented engineers leave after a couple of years. They don't really care about personal growth, people don't move around, especially in the Anywhere product. Management doesn't care about mentoring or learning new technologies or hearing about the opinions of their employees. What is important is bandaging mistakes and aging infrastructure to satisfy the customers. The whole tech stack is from 2014, which is is not great for the marketability of engineers. There's little incentive to stay, they pay below the average for engineers and don't account for cost of living raise.
