A bit overworked at the moment and they seem more willing to hire from outside people with less experience than promote from within. I feel like over a long term career I would have to quit and apply to get rehired in a better position to truly get promoted.

Pay is terrible compared to industry standards, no bonus/stock option, and upper management has been micro-managing the department for over a year as of 2025.
